My wife and I had long heard horror stories about buying a home in NOVA--limited inventory, bidding wars, cycles of rejection... However, Harrison navigated the process for us so magnificently, we experienced none of the headaches we expected and instead thoroughly enjoyed our home-buying experience. Here is what you can expect as one of Harrison's clients: 1) You will feel like his ONLY client. As good as he is, I know his dance card stays full. The succession of houses we viewed were each better than the last in meeting our needs and wants, even those we may not have articulated well during our first meeting. Harrison kept telling us, "The right house will find you." He was correct--we found a house that is perfect for our family--and he also played a huge role in making that happen. 3) Harrison knows houses, and he will absolutely shoot you straight. I prided myself on my judgment in a house's quality and repair but was humbled by Harrison's ability to "read" a house. We got the good and the bad on each house we toured with him, no matter how much we liked the house. He will not let you accidentally move into a cleverly disguised fixer-upper (unless that's what you want). 4) Harrison is incredibly efficient. I was amazed at the number of houses we were able to view with Harrison in such a short time. We never felt rushed, we never felt worn out, and we certainly were never bored. The days and times that he picked for us to view houses and the way he aligned locations for efficiency was perfect; he really optimized the searching process. Even more impressive was the optimized closing process. Offer-to-close on our new home took just 22 days! 5) Harrison is in your corner. Harrison took every opportunity to advocate for us as his clients, which I am convinced is the reason our first offer on our new home was accepted. He also bulldozed every speedbump we encountered in the home-buying process and was vigilant for even the slightest hiccup. He knows the business, he knows who to work with, he knows who to call, and he wants his clients to have the best home-buying experience. And you remain one of his clients, even after you have purchased your home. 6) He's a great dude. You will enjoy the time you spend with him (which is important given the stress of looking for a buying a new home).
